HOW TO MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN IN SUMMER

Apr 26, 2024sandra GASMI CONSULTING

Summer is a time when our skin is often exposed to extreme conditions, such as sun, heat and humidity. These factors can lead to dehydrated skin, leaving it dull, dry and prone to irritation.
Fortunately, there are specific skin care products and simple tips to keep your skin hydrated and glowing all summer long.

MOISTURISE WELL

The first step to moisturising your skin in summer is to keep it hydrated from the inside out. It's essential to drink enough water throughout the day to keep your skin well hydrated. Opt for water-rich foods such as cucumbers, watermelons, oranges and melons, which help to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.

AVOID HOT SHOWERS

Take lukewarm or cool showers instead of hot ones. Hot water can dry out your skin by removing the natural oils. A lukewarm shower will keep your skin hydrated.

GENTLE CLEANSING

Choose a gentle cleanser suited to your skin type. Avoid harsh cleansers that can remove the skin's natural oils and lead to dehydration. Use lukewarm water rather than hot water, as the latter can dry out the skin even more.

Pssss... Our Go For Glow Exfoliating Cleansing Gel gently removes impurities and dead skin cells, leaving your healthy skin fresh and radiant.

USE A SPRAY BOTTLE

Take a spray bottle of thermal spring water or rosewater with you and mist your face throughout the day to refresh and moisturise your skin. This will also help to soothe any irritation caused by the sun.

REGULAR MOISTURISING

Choose a light, non-greasy moisturiser suited to your skin type. Apply it daily to your face and body after cleansing. Opt for products containing moisturising ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, glycerine or sweet almond oil. Don't forget to nourish your lips too!

This way... Our Go For Protection Moisturising Day Cream moisturises and protects the skin from external aggressors. Thanks to this cream, your skin is moisturised, nourished and protected.

MOISTURISING MASKS

Nourish your skin with moisturising masks once or twice a week. Choose masks enriched with moisturising ingredients such as aloe vera, cucumber, oats or honey. Masks help to deeply rehydrate your skin and restore its natural radiance.

AVOID EXCESSIVE EXPOSURE TO THE SUN

Limit your direct exposure to the sun during the hottest part of the day, generally between 10am and 4pm. If you must go out, wear a wide-brimmed hat, light, loose-fitting clothes that cover your skin, and don't forget to protect your eyes with sunglasses!
