What is the COSMOS ORGANIC organic label by Ecocert?
ECOCERT
First label to focus specifically on cosmetics. A product labeled Ecocert assures you the absence of GMOs, parabens, phenoxyethanol, nanoparticles, silicone, PEG, synthetic fragrances and dyes, as well as the biodegradable or recyclable nature of the packaging. In all cases, A minimum of 95% of the total ingredients must be natural or of natural origin and a minimum of 10% of the total ingredients from organic farming.
COSMOS ORGANIC
The most demanding international cosmetic label in organic!
Cosmetic Organic Standard (Cosmos) results from a desire by Germany, France, Italy and Great Britain to harmonize the level of requirements and the certification rules for organic and natural cosmetics, at a level European.
A French product labeled Cosmos is necessarily also Ecocert and offers the same guarantees while being more demanding. The minimum of total ingredients from organic farming, for example, goes from 10% for Ecocert to 20% for Cosmos Organic. In addition, no GMOs or products of animal origin are authorized.

Sandra Gasmi, our founder, wanted to go even further by imposing an even stricter charter for the formulation of her products than the COSMOS ORGANIC label by Ecocert. Thus in the formulas of DEMAIN® skincare products
- 100% of the ingredients are of natural origin (against 95% required)
- 61% minimum of ingredients are from organic farming (against 20% required)
